Transiciones y contrucciones

Me gusta el sabor las transiciones. El pasar de un lugar a otro, de un momento a otro, dejar lo conocido para entrar a lo desconocido,  es una oportunidad que siempre trae sorpresas. De repente ya no estas donde estabas, el clima ya no es el mismo, el aire es distinto y el sol brilla de otro color. Cuando logras encontrar el ritmo correcto en este cambio de mareas, se generan explosiones de creatividad, oportunidades de cambiar uno mismo y lo que esta a tu alrededor. Llegar a Palugo después de cuatro meses ha sido una de esas transiciones especiales. El compartir  otra vez mi vida con mi comuna, con mis amigos y con la gente con la que trabajo me inspira. Todos tratando de crear espacios que generen una diferencia en este mundo ecuatorial que a ratos parece  entregado al olvido. Envueltos entre construcciones, cuidado de animales, huertas y preparando a Nahual para la llegada de varios grupos de estudiantes que vendrán a explorar las montañas del Ecuador con nosotros.

I usually enjoy transitions. Moving from one place to the other, letting one moment overtake the previous one, going from know to unknown, there are always discoveries to be made when it happens. Suddenly you are not where you were, the wind changes, the air feels different and the sun shines on a different tone. If you are able to flow with the rhythm of the changing tides, opportunities arise, a window of creativity opens up and chances to change yourself and things around you are all over. Arriving to Palugo (home) has been one of those special transitions. Coming back to my community, sharing with my family, friends and co-workers has been inspiring. We are all immersed on building projects, caring for animals, gardens and organizing Nahual for the arrival of several groups of enthusiastic students that are coming to learn and explore the Ecuadorian wilderness with us.
