We've ridden bikes since I have memory and as a consequence of growing up in a farm, all bikes, no matter what kind, eventually turn into "mountain bikes". We ride them mostly for fun and because bikes are fun to 'hangout with' all together. Here some of the bikes and gear we have used since this all started...
...thanks to the influence of Cass Gilbert (whileoutriding.com), we switched the rack for a framebag, a handlebar harness and a saddlebag, most of this gear is homemade with different materials, including leather.
-- In between the 3 families living in Palugo we have 3 Chariot Cougar trailers for family rides. The "coches", as the little ones call them.
-- For the Nahual School trips we have a fleet of fourteen 29" and 26 " Specialized Rockhoppers. The Rock Hoppers run a combination of homemade bags and racks...
For transportation of the fleet: Chainsaw blade and Thule rack. The system fits 2 bikes, a trailer and a family.

Nosotros tambien hemos experimentado mucho con modelos y materiales aqui en la finca y tambien hemos colaborado con algunas marcas gringas con pruebas de productos.
